Pole Removal Process

About 8 months ago a National Grid truck put in a new pole in front of {edited for privacy}. And they moved the electrical wires from the old and put on the new. The old pole is still in the ground, it carries Verizon wires/cables!

When can I expect that the old pole will be removed? I want to put new grass in, but the pole removal process will destroy what I do.

help!!!!
