I cancelled my Verizon FIOS service 2.5 months ago and ended up with a small refund (just under $50) for services prepaid but unused. I jave already received three monthly statements from Verizon showing this credit and stating that the amount is to be refunded to me. I have called Verizon 3 times, asking about the refund and I keep getting the runaround (Verizon's customer service is one of the reasons I switched to their competitor in the first place). Their alleged intent is to get me to Verizon's Finance department but I ultimately end up on a perpetual hold or someone else (not Finance) picks up and that "someone else" is unable to resolve the issue. Based on my search on these Forums, my case is far from unique. Do they really like people complaining to BBB, FCC, etc.?
