Removal of TV but keep internet services

i can't seem to get virtual representitive to respond to my question. i no longer watch tv and hate paying for something that i don't use. verizon tells me that my contract has expired....so is it possible to cancel tv service only and keep internet?

Yes.

Call 1800 Verizon and get a customer service representative.

If you can't get one, say cancel service (or the like).

You should get someone then.

Or can hit support via twitter @verizonsupport.

Keep in mind that Internet will be more expensive than it is with TV.

May want to look at going to local channels only.

In some cases it can be just as cheap as Internet only.

Esepcially if you have a TV that has a qam tuner so you would not need a box.

Qam is how TV channels are carried on cable.

most newer TVs over the past few years support it.

However if you call the 1-800-VERIZON between 8 am till 5 pm Eastern Daylight Time simply say “cancel service” will direct you to a retention representative. Please be aware they may just be a customer rep who will try to sell you anything to keep you getting service. Keep saying over and over I WANT MY TV CANCELLED NOW, say it over and over.
