Setting up Verizon E mail on My Touch LG phone or how to correct what is below

I have a problem...On the desktop pc I get NO spam..YET on the my touch I get tons of spam..

I use the same e mail address on both.

I access e mail on the my touch via a YAHOO icon.

I think and I am not sure the work around would be to set it up in a way thats NOT through that yahoo icon.

Could you possibly reply on here {edited for privacy} a STEP by Step by STEP procedure specifically how to do this?

Most antivirus programs for PC's have built in spam blockers. This is likely why your PC is not getting the spam but your Ipod Touch issue with spam. Check the App store to see if there is a spam blocking app for your email program on the Ipod.

i use lookout on my droid and it works great, see if it's available in your android google market. if it is try it out, it's free.
