There is a utility pole in the rear corner of my backyard with a mess of phones wires and boxes hanging haphazardly(see picture). How can I request to have this cleaned up?
Without being able to see the picture (it is in queue for Moderator approval) are all of the cables and boxes property of Verizon, or are they a mix of Verizon and other service providers?
Verizon can only work with their own hardware. The technicians are not allowed to touch hardware belonging to Comcast, Astound...etc.
You can reach out to Verizon Repair, but if the items are not causing a hazardous condition, an outage or are not actively in use, response times will be slow as technicians would prioritize service affecting situations and installations over working on unused cables/equipment.
But to reiterate, I'm unable to see the picture until approved by a Moderator.
