trouble reaching webmail this morning

Good morning all. This morning webmail was working - sluggishly, but working nonetheless. However, as of a few minutes ago, it has stopped working. I keep getting an error message. Anyone else?

Nope, working fine here, both webmail and using a client.

Suggestion: Add your location to your profile here so others can see where you are located, since many service issues tend to be local, not national. If you are not willing to put something in your profile, at least provide some general location information in your posts. If everyone here would do that it would make it much easier to see what specific areas are having problems. Thanks....

Email down here in Mass as well code 3002. I was on the phone with verizon on and off hold for 45 minutes..ran out of time to keep holding

Oh, sorry, I am in Maryland. Since Massachusetts is also having a problem, maybe an east coast problem?

I am the account owner and cannot access my emails.  Other members of my family, however, are able to access their email accounts.  Are there verizon server problems that are causing this problem?

Same here. Consistently poor email availability and reliability with Verizon as compared to Optimum Online.

Just spoke to Verizon "tech support" and there is a server outage that is causing my problem.  They don't yet have any specific information on the nature of the problem nor exactly when it will be resolved.  Stay tuned.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that all emails haven't been blown away by the server crash --- I remember this happening about a year ago and it took some time to get resolution and to access all old emails.

First, thanks for providing the location info, it can't hurt and may help. I wish all posters would provide that information.....

Also, note that the others that have bothered to identify where they are located are also on the east coast. Could be a coincidence, but I would bet not. I just checked again, no issue here for me.

I keep receiving error messages and no matter how often I refresh, as advised, I receive the same messages.

I am unable to access email at all.

The fact that I can't call anyone or have a direcrt comment from Verizon, is another annoying matter.

I reached out to the email town and was told they are working on resolving this issue ASAP.  I’ll keep you updated as I learn more.

I'm in Maryland and my wife's email has the same error/problem. My email ID is OK so must be on  a different server. Just talked to Verizon and they are aware of this problem but not ETA on when it gets fixed. It sucks for my wife as she needs this communications for her real estate practice.

I was on with support this morning for about an hour. Evidently they have an outage on some servers, I have asecond account that is fine. I was just able to access the problem account but none of my emails or folders are there. Experienced this same issue last year and it took about 4 days for them to resolve it.

So,... just like last year (I think it was October) we have to cross our fingers that they've built in adequate redundancy.  I was just able to briefly access my emails.  Nothing like depending upon cloud-based functionality!

Hi All,

Does anybody know why the Verizon.net email servers are down in NJ?  When will the e-mail servers be back up and running online?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!  Please Advise Me?  Thanks In Advance

At 7:47 p.m. I'm still out. No webmail access and get this error:

{"res":{},"error":{"code":"3002","msg":"3002"}}

My wife's companion account working fine, but she uses POP mail.

BTW, got a recorded message from Verizon to say my problem was fixed. NOT.

I had the same problem and the same error message yesterday when trying to access my webmail.   Very annoying as I was expecting an extremely important e-mail.
