I've tried at home and at a nearby Starbucks, but it seems that webmail.verizon.net is down as of 10:00 AM in Sterling, Virginia.

I hope the issue is resolved soon.

As of about Noon, 2015-01-04, webmail.verizon.net seems to be working.
