I just switched to Verizon Fios. I had Brighthouse before. I used I have windows 7 and I used windows live for my email. I am unable to set it up and I keep getting the following message:
The connection to the server has failed.
Subject 'hello'
Server: 'SMTP.VERIZON.NET'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10060
Can someone please tell how to fix so I can continue to use windows live.

The port requieres SSL on. Your report shows it off.
