I need to remove a bunch of old devices from my network. I followed the instructions in this post but there is no X icon for the devices. https://forums.verizon.com/t5/Fios-Internet/How-to-remove-devices-from-my-wireless-network/m-p/464951#M30854
Wow. At least in the case of the MI424WR Rev I, they don't go away. This router's been in a box for something on the order of a year, but it still had the original laptop I used with it in the My Network listing. I started with this:
As the instuctions say:
Then I clicked on the icon on the right (with the red X as part of it) next to the entry I want deleted:
And the entry is deleted from that list. When I went back to My Network, it was gone from there, too.
Do you have the MI424WR Rev I?

Devices remove themselves once deactivated. The ghost listings can be removed via a router refresh. Turn router on/off or if you need further guidance look up your router here and follow instructions on refreshing etc. the router.

Good Luck
Devices do not remove themselves.
