how do i get a replacemnt without paying? i have been a verizon customer for over 25 years
Have not seen a way to do it.
Battery only supports phone service.
So if you don't care to have it backed up during power outage, no reason to replace.
Otherwise, it us treated like tires, wipers, brakes etc on a car where you have a warranty.
Considered user responsibility. Newer onts don't even come with bbu. It is an extra item powered by d cell batteries
