Jetpack 8800L and signal booster

my 8800L doesn't stay with the boosted signal .  I can see that the booster is putting out a decent strong signal but 8800L drops it.   I don't get it back  even if I move it directly under indoor dome antenna.  It seems to prefer a much weaker band 13 signal that it picks up from outside not the much stronger indoor boosted signal.

anyone else with this issue? .

as soon as I purchased the booster and jetpack.  everything works for a bit, and I have 4 bars on the jetpack .  It picks up the boosted signal from an indoor antenna.   However, it frequently drops the boosted signal and seems to go to a 'outdoor' signal one that is picked up when the booster is off.  It is much worse, 1 bar.

so in sum, the jetpack gets a 4 bar signal but switches away from it frequently to a much poorer signal.

if it is important the boosted signal is tower band 5 and the outdoor signal seems to be band 13.

Do you normally have the Jetpack close to the booster antenna? Have you tried moving it away from the device and placing it at least 6 feet away? - Robert
