I had this device for a year and it worked fine; about 3 weeks ago, it suddenly stopped working saying the error message above. I called Verizon customer service for assistance and did the factory reset, and did not work; now they sent me a new replacement and it is still poping the same error message, so it is not a device error.
Here are the setup message:

Oh, no! Dealing with LTE Network Extender issues can be frustrating, especially if you got a replacement. We know how important is for your 4G LTE Network Extender to work properly. The 9A error message indicates an issue with your Wi-Fi networks LAN/Firewall settings. For this issue have you checked your LAN/Firewall setting to ensure the Network Extenders IP is not being blocked?

I have the exact same issue and also just received a replacement extender that is still giving the same error code 9A.
I've check the router settings and nothing is being blocked.
Not sure if this is related but the issue started about the same time Microsoft had the issue that took down computers with the blue screen of death at business and airports.
Do you have any other ideas? Our signal is weak here and the extender really made a difference.

Hello, Dallenrnbsn. Help is here. What is the make/model of the extender? What are the speeds you receive on your home Wi-Fi?

I don’t think so. I’m using eero as the router and I did not block any port. It was the same router that I’ve been always using since last year. And it worked until about a month ago, in a sudden, it just popping up error message.

Got it, yhzzzz. We do recommend contacting your network administrator to double-check LAN/firewall settings, especially since the issue affected two devices. Please keep us posted.
