International, 1 acct 2 lines. Can't call each other

Question

Paid for 1 month international pass for my son and me for Spain. No problems txt, data but unable to call each other which is the whole point.  Phones rebooted, roaming on, both on vodafoneES, cant figure a solution.

Again, we need to talk not txt. Is possible to fix? We each can call a friend here w a different US carrier. So problem is internal.
