International plan activation

I entered our travel dates and requested the international plan. May 1-18. However, the end date showed April 18th. 
I thought maybe I entered the incorrect month and attempted to update the dates. The message indicated I already activated for those dates. The end date again showed April instead of May. 
is there a reason the plan would end before my travel date started?
