Just spent an hour and 12 minutes on the phone with Verizon technical specialist as my phone has no service in Italy. After attempts at troubleshooting was advised that there is an issue with all international roaming on Verizon at this time. Can anyone confirm whether this is accurate.

Verizon was aware of an international third-party communications provider having issues with voice and data connections with U.S. based customers traveling overseas at the end of June. The issues have been fixed and impacted customers have received notifications from Verizon.
If you have an issue like this while traveling, we recommend using Wi-Fi when available. If you had previously activated Wi-Fi Calling back in the United States, that feature can be used as well in the meantime: https://www.verizon.com/support/wifi-calling-faqs/.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and thank you for using Community Forums to lift your feedback and experience.

Just wanted to throw my experience into the mix. I also started having connection problems yesterday, the 26th, traveling internationally to Brussels, Belgium. I have occasional connections however for the vast majority of the time, no connection can be made and it just searches. This is with an iPhone 11. We have a samsung as well that is working fine.

I’m having same issue. They told me it was across carriers and specifically an iPhone issue. That doesn’t help….

Same issue in China. Here all payments are now phone based. This outage means no food, no tickets to sites, and no transportation. Cash is very rarely accepted; I can’t even buy a local phone without a working phone. I’m now trapped here with two young children. Luckily I can pay for hotel since they have WiFi. We’ve already missed our chance to see the pandas we came to Chengdu to see. No idea what I’ll do when it’s time for the flight out and I need a taxi to airport. Fix this now Verizon!!!!

I am in France with the exact same problem. Went out yesterday about 3pm local time, still not back 26 hours later. I *guess* I'm glad that this goes beyond my family's phones but sorry for your troubles. Thanks for taking the hit by waiting in the phone line - I haven't even been able to call...

If it matters, this is Marseille, France, but problem started in Aix-en-Provence yesterday. Like all of you we've paid for travel passes (on three lines, none working - all iPhones, which seems to be the pattern) and would at the very least expect some rebate on that.
