Anonymoose999, I hope whatever trip you're taking internationally is a great one! Even if for work, hope you have a good time and are getting to go somewhere exicting 🙂 As for your question, a international plan begins service either based on the date you purchased service to begin or when you start using your device internationally. It depends on what kind of service you intend to use.
If you're planning to use TravelPass, that is avaiable for use when you enter a international location with service. If you make or recieve call, send a text, or use cellular data; a TravelPass session for 24-hours is opened. The plan is useful for short trips, and trips where you need to do a lot of communicating. Alternatively we have the International Monthly Plan, which gives service for 30-days with a fixed amount of calling, data usage, etc. It begins on a specific date of your choosing, and runs for 30-days. With an option to either end after 30-days, or reoccur for another 30-days. This plan is best for long term trips somewhere.

Great question, Anonymoose999. Any plan or line feature changes, including international plans, will take effect at midnight EST, for the date you selected. This way, the plan will take effect on the selected date, to ensure you have service during your travel dates. Please let know if this helps.

I took the international monthly plan . I understand it starts the day I selected it to start. My question is the start of the day where? At midnight at the start of the day in the international location or at midnight of the beginning of the day in one of the us time zones?
