Verizon or anyone,
We have the Verizon LTE Home model XCI55AX. It obviously broadcasts Wifi on an SSID. I also have 2 separate Ubiquiti UAP-AC-M access points with a separate SSID connected to one of the LAN ports (via a switch) to extend our wifi range across the property. I want to create a single mesh instead of switching between SSIDs manually. (But I want to keep the 4G/5G receiver/router - it works great!)
Can I disable the Wifi transceiver in the XCI55AX so I use only the UAP access points? I read through the manual and did not see anything to do that; there is a Bridge Mode but that turns off the Wifi AND router AND DHCP assignments, etc. I guess I would need a separate router for that function.
Alternatively, does Verizon have a 4G/5G LTE home receiver that DOES allow the wifi to be turned off? i.e., different model?
Thank you! -Ron

Yipes, now I see I can toggle the "enable" button for each radio frequency. I may have answered my own question but chime in if this is wrong.
