Just installed a Verizon network extender. Extender works great, but is is changing the time zone on our phones from eastern time to central time.

There's a thread from August of last year with this same issue and I also experienced it moving my extender from my home to my son's 30 miles away. It wasn't resolved specifically, but I think the issue just went away after a day or so, maybe with a software update or a server reset somewhere. Have you restarted your extender to see if that helps?

I continually have this problem since changing to this new and improved Network Extender in March 2021. Anyone that comes to our location and their phone connects (automatically) to the Extender will have their time zone changed.
I have Reset, Factory Reset, checked the Time Zone settings in Admin Web. I just now changed the Setting of "Connected Devices" to "Set by Verizon" to see if that might work. ?????? I will post if this works??????
We have multiple people that travel into different Time Zones, so one of the solutions I was given is to keep phones on Manual Date and Time; NO not an option!!!
Anyone that has a solution I will be interested in trying!!!

So, how do the rest of us get this changed? Mine is showing EST, and I live in CST. I don't want to call 4 times into Verizon to try and get to a Tier 2 person just to correct it. Verizon knows this is a know issue and a tech bulletin should be sent out and the ability to get it fixed the first time.
Hey, Verizon Admins for this site. I have logged into the network extender, changed the time zone to Central for both Admin Web and Connected devices. And it still gives the wrong time zone. What is the deal???? I would attach a screen shot, but your button to attach an image is horrible. You try it and see if it is user friendly.

We are happy to review this with you in depth. After updating the time zone, did you disconnect and reconnect your devices to the extender again?

This issue with the network extender and changing the connected devices to Central time is a disaster. My neighbors cell phones and devices who have Verizon are also getting their devices changed to Central time and one upset neighbor missed conference calls because of this. They were on the phone with Verizon not knowing what the problem was or that I installed a network extender until we had dinner and they asked if we had any problems with our phones and time zone issues. The LTE Extender device is NOT providing the correct date code to the connected devices that is set in the NetWork extender.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THIS IS STILL AN ISSUE AND VERIZON STILL DOESN'T HAVE A FIX?!?!?! Having the same issue here with a brand new extender. Verizon said they've escalated my ticket. If I find a fix I'll share it.
VERIZON: MERGE THESE FORUMS!!!! There are dozens of individual forums with this issue. LINK THEM!!!
The solution for this is to contact Verizon and have them escalate to their network team. Don't let them talk you into resetting anything on your phone.
