If your Ellipsis 8 does not appear to be charging and it shows a battery symbol with a question mark, the following steps can be used to charge your device.
Using the charger cable, plug the device into a computer USB slot (Notebook computers will need to be plugged in).
Wait 45 minutes.
Then plug in your Ellipsis 8 using the wall charger, within 2 hours the device should be charged to around 50% and should function normally after that.
