On my daughter's ellipses 7 tablet she gets horizontal lines and can't see or watch videos of any kind...UTube, Netflix, etc. We can still hear the sound of the video, however.

New software is available for the Ellipsis 7. Please update your tablet by going to:
Settings > About Tablet > System Update > Check New.
Please let us know if this resolves your issue.
jobeth09, we don't want this to be an ongoing issue for your daughter. Is there any physical or liquid damage on the tablet? When did this issue start?
