Random shutdowns

My Ellipse 10 tablet shutdowns randomly. And by randomly, I mean exactly that. There is no pattern.
I know that this is a known issue and that nothing that Verizon suggests as a fix will work. 'Sending the tablet in' doesn't fix it. 'Factory reset' doesn't fix it. And on and on. But nothing fixes it.
I am a year into my contract, out of warranty. I have been a customer for many, many years (I started with a bag phone, so...) I want out of my contract; I want a different tablet.
So...what is your response, Verizon?

CHRBRO52, it's disheartening to see that you're having trouble with your tablet randomly shutting down. From what you are requesting I feel like it is best to speak with you directly. Please respond to my private message.

Well maybe some other VZW rep could address my question/problem.
As I mentioned I want OUT of my contract for the worthless, problematic Ellipse 10 tablet. No point in listing the problems since I am sure you are aware of the many known problems with the device. The worst problem is the constant restarting. No pattern, no common factor, just random restarting every time I use it. Every time, every day.
I want a resolution.

You must be kidding, right?
Is your answer to ''I want a working tablet" is "Cancel the line"?
Really?

It's either that or you purchase a better quality tablet for full retail price. Cut your losses on a low end specification device and move on. Your options are limited once you are out of warranty.

Wow - I love that a Verizon customer rep called the Ellipse 10 a low-end device. Just... Wow.

Ann isn't a Verizon Wireless rep. She, like the rest of us, is a Verizon Wireless customer. The Verizon Wireless reps, like Carman and Marcus, are clearly identified as such. The answers that the reps post all follow a certain pattern.
