Screen turns white and wont charge

I have had 2 ellipis 7 tabs and on both of them the screen just randomly turns White then shuts off. One of them the battery wouldnt hold a charge now i cant get this one to even charge. When I plug it in the for a quick second I get a battery symbol then nothing.

We definitely want your tablet working as it should and certainly want it charging reliably. How long has this been going on exactly? Since this has been going on and since this has happened with two devices, have there been any new or similar apps installed on the device? Application or software updates? Any damage to the device or charging port? Does the charger fit tightly or is it loose within the port?
