USB keyboard on ellipsis 8

I can't get a USB keyboard to work on my ellipsis 8. Debug is enabled. Any ideas?

The device does not support the USB host mode, so plugging in a keyboard into the USB port will not work. Your best bet is to use a Bluetooth keyboard.

I love the convenience of being able to use a keyboard with my tablet, FatJohnnys. I want to make sure we get yours working. Is this the first time you have attempted to use the keyboard? Certain accessories may not be compatible with certain devices. Did you purchase the keyboard from Verizon Wireless? What is the model keyboard you are using?
