Sounds like a great problem to ask Madden Mobile about. Perhaps they have a limitation with the Ellipsis 7 that other users or their support team can confirm.

Yes. It says it's up to date.
Then there is no update. It is like how an OG Droid won't do what an LG G3 can do. Hardware limitations. Maybe a compatible version will arrive one day, or an update to your tablet will.

I'm not sure the age of that tablet being a 7 and the E8 being out now, but I have never seen awesome support for those Ellipsis tablets.
