Curious, have you tried to dial *228 + send from your phone? Then press option 2
Look at the other messages. This is already being discussed a lot. It's the hand placement relative to the antennae.
The Droid Incredible has a publicized issue with its signal strength meter. Is the phone just showing low signal or are you actually dropping calls? When compared to other phones, the Incredible will show significantly less signal, but there is not an increase in call dropping. This could be what you are experiencing.
