2020 deals for existing customers

It seems as though this is an annual conversation and VZW refuses to address the issue. What gives? Do we need to go to the competition in order to get a good deal on new phones? I've been with VZW and it's predecessors forever and would hate to leave, but they are not helping much. Thoughts?

Verizon has the lowest churn so they have no pressure to offer the same promos that attract new customers.

Personally, I stopped caring. Last two phones I purchased were unlocked. If I were to switch, my bill would double since I have a loyalty plan.

I am a verizon customer for 20+ years. I have 4 lines . When I went to sams club, AT&T offered me almost free iphone pro if I switch my service with a lower phone bill compared to what I am paying currently . I am off contract with Verizon. Last month when I spoke to a representative in loyalty, he told me that some promotion will for sure come up around Valentine’s day. I do not see any to date. My question is that Verizon is one of the carrier who punishes loyal customers instead of rewarding them . As a side note - being a BMw customer for years, each time I have bought a new car, I get loyalty discount - not the case with verizon though. Seems like verizon leadership does not care to keep new customers. I guess time to switch to At&T

It's great to know that you've been enjoying our services for such a long time, although it's rather sad to hear that you feel this way about our promotions and suddenly want to leave us. Where are you seeing that we do not have any promotions for current customers? As you should have seen over the years, we have always offered promotions that involve a discounted phone, and sometimes you would need to get a new line of service, while other times you would need to have an eligible plan or trade-in: https://www.verizon.com/deals/ . We've had very big promotions during the later part of the year, such as around Thanksgiving and Black Friday Weekend - was there anything preventing you from being able to upgrade your lines at those times?

You also mention getting loyalty discounts with BMW - have you not been using Verizon Up? You may remember that as being introduced several years ago to replace our previous loyalty program that mainly offered gift cards, while Verizon Up lets you choose a monthly reward of your choosing, including device dollars that can be saved and banked for up to 24 months: m.vzw.com/m/UpSocial . These would then be used towards any phone upgrade you would want, so the only limit is how much you decide to save or spend through Verizon Up.
