Santa Clarita is part of the greater Los Angeles area, so it's not likely to show up on that site as Verizon claims coverage in LA. Kind of crazy, I had LTE even when I went into the deep woods of a Portland suburb in Oregon. AT&T didn't even have 3G there. But LTE in Santa Clarita, pop 175,000? Nope.
My phone showed LTE at the Valencia mall today for about an hour. Then it went away. Testing?
Were you getting 4g speeds with that connection?
We did not test the speed but the internet speeds did seem better. If I ever see LTE show up in Santa Clarita again, I will do a speed test, along with a screen shot with my on the map location. I am hoping this was a test and a deployment will come soon. I now know the towers must support LTE.

To confirm you are on an LTE device such as the iPhone 5 correct? iPhone 4s and many android phones are not LTE.

My Galaxy S3 is show 4G lte, but the speed isn't great (3mb down 0.2mb up) over by the mall (Magic Mtn Pkwy & McBean.) Still nice to see it finally showing up. I was in Tucson over the weekend and did a test that pulled 34mb down and 9mb up.
Well when I come home from work, we will see. I got 35MB this morning. If they turned it off for testing again, I will be fairly upset.
My coworkers are now both showing 4G, speed tests are showing 2mb down .5 up (we're in an office building and never used to get service at all) so hopefully the signal will get better as the up more towers :smileyhappy:
Weird i had 4g ALL day today and for some weird reason copperhill and seco there isnt 4g anymore... maybe they turned it off for today:( testing still?
I've had 4G LTE since this morning. Off McBean & Decoro I was getting 3.5mbps down and 2.7mbps up. Here I am 7 hours later and so far the 4G LTE is still on (but won't be surprised if it's just up for testing). Off The Old Road and Rye Canyon I'm getting 13.4mbps down and 14.3mbps up.
14fwy near Via "P" 10.54mps download 5.59mps upload.... Woke up to a suprise! Its about time Verizon.... Now if they would change there upgrade policy, i'd love them even more! I dont want to wait until July for a new phone!
Getting 20MB up and down at my house, roughly Wiley Canyon and Orchard Village, and LOVING IT!!! Now I can really reap the benefit of a grandfathered UNLIMITED DATA plan :smileyhappy:
If you drive by the tower on the 5 next to calgrove you get 60MB down and 40 UP. :-)
Surprisingly, 4G LTE is still on this morning. Off McBean & Decoro I got 19.3mbps down and 6.4mbps up. I hope they're done with testing and this won't be turned off.

The way I read the map is that Piru (population 2k) and Fillmore (population 15k) have great 4G coverage, but the map doesn't reflect any 4G coverage in Santa Clarita (population 275k.) Hopefully this isn't just a test and someone at a way off headquarters has finally approved us for 4G.
Don't get me started on the long list of tiny towns across the central valley that had 4G ahead of Santa Clarita. Hopefully this can stop being one of those annoying things about Verizon.

As of very recent 4G LTE seems to be up in Santa Clarita. I have had 4G LTE over a week now.
What kinds of speed are you getting? I'm over by the mall and just got 1.4m down and 4m up. It's a start, but not great.
Had 4G Early this morning at Magic Mountain and Mcbean, now nothing... Not even 3G.
Started noticing 4G/LTE about a week ago but not the high speeds until tonight. Using Speed Test app on a IPad at Valencia & McBean tonight 16.41 Mbps download and 1.55 Mbps upload. I'm near Kohl's shopping center across from the mall. Similar LTE speeds on my Samsung Galaxy at Chili's at McBean and the 5 Freeway about an hour ago.
