Hello all,
I have an old plan, it is the single smartphone 5GB plan that if I go over 5GB I am charged $10 for every additional GB. I am a light user and often to not reach 4GB.
Lately, my data service has been so slow it's not useable around noon or the early evening. When this is happening I always have at least 3 bars of service. The lack of data seems to happen anywhere I go, not just at a specific location.
Did I miss a notice somewhere that puts my plan on low network priority? Has Verizon's 4G network just become so over-saturated? If I am being throttled, is this the type of service I should expect if I switch to a Verizon Pre-pay plan?
Thank you in advance.

Hello Ryan_. We know the importance of understanding your plan data access status. Data connection and speeds can vary based on the cellular traffic in your home area. Please send us a Private Note, if you are still in need of assistance. Or would like us to look into this, more closely for you.

Hello Tanisha,
I have tried twice now with Verizon chat support and no one can give me an answer. According to the service availability map on Verizonwireless.com 5G should be available but I cant even get 1 Mbps...
