My birthday is tomorrow and I thought hey maybe I'll finally switch to a company with better service as a little treat to myself, so I took myself and my elderly father over to a Verizon company store and spent a few hours getting us set up with two brand new lines. Two hours after switching to Verizon I no longer have any service on my phone, and by that time the store and customer service are closed. My father's phone works but mine has a nice little ghostbuster on it instead of any service, and since we do not have wifi my phone is now an expensive brick. Going outside does not fix it, and the location should not be an issue anyway since his phone works. I have done everything the automated system suggested for troubleshooting, and 'Live Chat' I assume nobody is there and should be marked as closed at night since I left the window open for 1-2 hours and the estimated wait time stayed at "20+ minutes" for most of it, only giving me hope when it dropped to 5 minutes once before going back up again.
