Can i get a prorated refund of prepaid wireless service within 3 days?

I ported to Verizon on 04/11 from Google Fi as I was facing some issue with coverage and verizon map showed LTE excellent coverage at my residence.

But I am experiencing bad signal and / or signal drop at my house and feel that it was a bad decision to switch and would like to move to other carrier (one of big three) but wanted to know if I can get the prorated refund for $45 which I prepaid for the service? Terms on the prepaid page is not very clear, it did mention at one place about 3 days cancellation and refund and at other place no refund. Don't want to struggle with poor signal for next 27 days..

Definitely call CS, but the statements is using OR as the conjunction so that means if any of the items is true then the statement is true:

No refunds will be granted or returns accepted after 14 days - so far so good but

OR if the card has been used

OR if the coating on the card has been scratched off

OR if your account has been initialized - This is the part that is true in your case. Since it is true, the statement is No refunds will be granted if your account has been initialized.

Unfortunately Verizon coverage maps aren't the best. Sprint is the only carrier left with somewhat realistic maps.

Are you are using your Google phone with Verizon? Have you tried turning "Advanced Calling" on or off to see if it helps?

did you pay by prepay card or credit card or cash in store? you can customer service by dialing *611 for refund inquiry

I paid my credit card, I do see that return policy but 14 days clause is confusing and I am only on 3rd Day

call CSR for assistance you might be able to get refund in three days you never know ...call and get assistance no harm to call ...more you wait less chances you get refund for access fee and let us know what was outcome after you called

DigitalRules I believe you are correct the map is not accurate, also I am on prepaid so it does not have the wif or VOLTE or HD calling.I have factory unlocked Nexus 6

Let's compare what you're paying for.

No advanced/Wi-Fi Calling.....prepay

$45 per month gives you 2GB Unlimited Talk and Text

$60 per month gives you 5GB Unlimited Talk and Text

With advanced/Wi-Fi calling..post pay (you already own the device and it clearly work on the network)

$45 per month gives you 3GB Unlimited Talk and Text

$60 per month gives you 6GB Unlimited Talk and Text

You wouldn't be under a contract so switching to post pay would seem to be beneficial. You will get 1 more GB of data and Wi-Fi calling if your device is capable. I still don't think that you'd get a credit for switching from pre to post pay but you'd get the benefits.

Even though your home is in a good coverage area there is no guarantee that inside o any structure you will receive coverage.

Aren't you forgetting the $20 per line access on the post pa? t is $45 + $20 = $65 for 3 GB and $60 + $20 = $80 for 6 GB.
