I am in Cincinnati OH there is a tower located on my property on 4575 Mount Carmel Rd.
There is a definite internet outage from the tower.
No one has reported it becuase:
Verizon current support to start a ticket means using chat. No one in Verizon chat can contact tier 2 to start a ticket.
Next step - wait on hold 4x for tier 1 that can get you to tier 2...
Then - tier 1 cannot hold on the call and only transfer you where you wait another 15 to 20 minutes to no one answering at tier 2 and getting kicked from the call.
There is a business onsite here. I am a personal user in an apartment onsite. I am not here to do Verizons job of making sure the tower is up...and reporting the tower is down...Sad protocols and procedures covid 19 notwithstanding, someone should have thought about this and made it easy for the general public to basically be gophers for Verizon and eyes on the ground.
My phone does not work, nor my jetpack, nor any of the Verizon subscribers onsite, at any one time that is around 500 people that are here at the business.
So. No one at Verizon knows about this issue because there literally is no way to report the outage.
