Coverage area

I regularly pass through the small town of Ft. Recovery, Ohio. Up until a couple of months ago, the online coverage map showed very limited coverage. I found this, in reality, was true. Recently the coverage map has changed and shows that the coverage in the area has improved. I see no actual change in my reception. Does VZW monitor this site and if so. has a tower been added and I should see better reception?
