Dear Verizon

Why would I want to switch my 3g for 4g?  The only possible answer is so that I can use up my 5GB plan FASTER in the month and pay you more?  Where is the logic in that?  Seriously, please realize that if your going to offer faster speed a 50 dollar 10GB plan at least would be a start!!!!

Sheeesshhh.. what a downer.:smileysad:  5GB cap is pathetic.  What would be wrong with at least a 8 or 10 GB for 50.... An average family living in the middle of nowhere CAN"T afford that kind of $$$

Clavin sent you a Private Message. Not about 4g service and I don't think  Verizon would want us to keep the converastion going here.

Currently I am on the 5gb 3g now for over two years.  It does allow me to play online a moderate amount (maybe 8 hours a week average) surf the net, and watch video to some degree.  7-8 GB would probably still be restricting but not bad.  10 Gb I would never use more then and that would allow a movie once a week for sure.  But I'm sure an HD movie could be an issue.  My wife and I watch Survivor on  Hulu and it sucks about 400megs.  Anyway, caps are probably better then throttling that's for sure...

Some of us have no choice but to use wireless as our "broadband". I live in a rural area but the 2 hwys bounding my road have fiber. Our road is too sparse to bother. I will never see a wire here (Charter said they'd do it for $30k the thieves!!).

any data plan that is $50 dollar is a joke.  No data plans should go over $30.  5GB should be on or two teirs under unlimited.  If they do not offer unlimited for 4g at $30 or less I will stick with a 3g phone or switch wireless network.
