My mother had the HPC 2000 for 3 years and recently it stopped working. Verizon replaced with new model, HPC LVP2. Having difficulties setting up. Anyone else experience this?

Mine wouldn't activate the sim card. Turned out that the old black unit was a 3G and this new one is a 4G and the service wasn't changed over to 4G. Works now, but lost my caller ID on phone. Only shows up on the unit screen.
