Help me understand this

Question

So i want to get the Bionic but i notice my city (des moines, iowa) is not in 4g support

So i looked at their list of citys to get it and see iowa falls. Does that mean only iowa falls will get 4g support? Im not quiet understanding this. So now idk if i should buy the bionic. THanks for the help!

As the LTE is built out, you will eventually get 4G. Roughly once a month, VZW announces new cities. But the Bionic and all 4G Phones run on the 3G system as well.
