How do I get refund if I close my prepaid account

I have one prepaid line with Verizon now. I have $115 in my account, which is good for three months. I am trying to port the number to Visible. I wonder if I will get a refund for the remaining credit on my account if I port the number out today. If no refund will be issued, I might have to wait 3 months before switching.
