How do I shut off "enhanced LTE" or "advanced LTE" on my phone?

You can't turn Advanced LTE on or off. -- Why do you want to?
I suspect RMCCAMMAN is referring to Advanced Calling and HD Voice. You can turn that off, but that is not what Advanced LTE is
- Advanced Calling is using LTE to carry voice data using IP protocols, I.e, VoIP
- HD Voice is part of Advanced Calling that allows higher fidelity voice when both phone are compatible
- Advanced LTE is carrier aggregation. This allows the phone to use different frequencies at the same time to get faster data speeds. For example, if you have a Verizon signal on band 13 and band 4 your phone will be able to use both at once -- aggregate them into one fast incoming data stream.
