My wife would like to switch her current phone over to an old one I use to use. Will Verizon do this and if so whatg is the process
You can log into the MyVerizon account of the primary line on your family and choose "activate or switch device" under the "I want to..." section.
i tried the same thing thing wont switch my phone for me they said it was an altell phone so i asked them about anouther line and everytime i thought i have a set price they changed it on me 3 different times i even told them this was a joke its not our fault they decided to take over altell
You didn't say that is was an Alltel branded phone. As of January 2012, no Alltel branded phones can be activated on the Verizon Wireless network. Ones that are currently active on a line can stay there, but once they have been deactivated you can't activate it again on your line or another.

Hello Mr.Fun1,
Ann154, is correct. You can log in to My Verizon and activate your device. Please note that you will no longer be able to activate Alltel equipment. If this is the case and you need to replace your wife's device you can also check your upgrade eligibility date as well as prices from My Verizon. I'm sure you'll find this information helpful. Have a great evening.
