I have been a Verizon customer for about 8 years (I've had multiple accounts) and I'm just very unhappy with my service recently. Our data has increased a lot over the past few months and it doesn't seem correct. We watch our data closely. My boyfriend and I had separate plans for about a year and half and we decided to join them to save money. We spoke to a few different reps about it and they assured us that we would be paying less if we combined plans. So we did.. And once we actually sat down to do it, everything we were told about saving money went out the window. We are paying more now and it's something that we can not afford. $200 for 2 lines just seems outrageous.
I have been trying to live chat with someone for about 2 hours today and have had no luck. I know that I will need to call and cancel our service, but I would like to get a little info from someone before I go ahead and make the call.
Has anyone else thought about switching and been successful or know someone that has?
I have always loved having Verizon and it saddens me that I want to cancel, but for what we need in a phone plan is just too costly with Verizon. We don't want to change our plan, we just want to feel like what we are paying is practical for the services we want. And unfortunately, Sprint has it for half the price.
