About two mouths ago(9/21/2018), I was in job search and there was no internet in my room. Because I need high speed internet to take online tests and interviews, I decided to upgrade my currently prepaid Verizon account to an unlimited postpaid Verizon account. Then I made an order online and waited for the SIM card delivered. I checked my mail box everyday and got nothing for about 10 days. Then I checked online about the order, and found that my SIM card was returned to Verizon because of the wrong shipment address. Actually when the representative asked me to confirm the address I gave it as "[removed]", which was wrong, then I noticed it was wrong, and added "court" in the address, but the representative didn't noticed that and sent it to the first address.
After the SIM card was returned the Verizon didn't call me to ask for a right address because they already started to charge me $80 a month for the undelivered SIM card and service starting with the day I made that order. They don't care whether they deliver the device and service for their customer at all. All they care is about money.
Here are my questions:
1. Who is responsible for the undelivered SIM card?
2. Why can't Verizon call me after the SIM card was returned to Verizon?
3. Why Verizon still insist on charging me two month's fee for the undelivered service after I talked with them many times?
4. Is that really the way Verizon treat their customers? Do they really care about the service quality they provide for customers? It's not fair.
I attached the chatting log about making that order, and I hope Verizon could cancel the charges for their undelivered SIM card and virtual "unlimited high speed internet data".
