My voice fades in and out

Others say my voice fades in and out, and I can hear voices fading in and out on my husband's & kids' phones, too. I have an iPhone 6s in zip code 45365. My husband has an iPhone 7 plus, same zip code. My daughter has an iPhone 7 in zip code 43605. My son has a Galaxy Note 4 in zip code 74115. We have no trouble sending texts. Is something wrong with Verizon's signal? We can't be the only people this happens to. Can this be fixed?

Doubt there is anything wrong with the "signal" as you put it. You only put in your zip code.There may be several towers in your zip code. So is issue regulated to when you use the phone at home? Does your husband also have the issue when he uses his phone in the same area you are are using yours talking to the same people? If not then it's likely your device. also could be the construction materials you home is made of if the issue is confined to there. Like I said not enough info. Is everyone who has this issue hearing you also use Verizon? I would suggest turning on HD calling if your haven't and also make sure everyone has that on too. Other than that more info is needed. As I said doubtful it's signal going bad it's not milk or some other perishable item.

Being able to use your wireless device as intended is always a top priority, TeresaL0509. We would like to learn more in order to properly assess the issue at hand. When did this issue begin? Also, as Boringusername asked, is this issue isolated to one specific location in the zip code mentioned or does this happen everywhere? Looking forward to assisting with a resolution.

It's been happening for years. It happens everywhere, in each zip code mentioned. I will be talking to my son in Shreveport, LA and his voice will fade in and out, same thing with my daughter in Toledo. I was speaking to my mom, and she said my voice was fading in and out. We were both in Sidney, OH. I was in my car. Do you think it may have been because I was in traveling in my car? I'm not sure if my son or daughter were driving when it happened. I will keep track of when it happens from now on so I can see if there is a pattern. It is intermittent, it doesn't happen all the time.

I would try using your husband's phone and see if it still happens. If not then it's phone issue. As I said turn on HD calling if you haven't already. If both parties are using it it does make a huge difference. Also could be Verizon is just not very good in your area and maybe another carrier would work better. I certainly wouldn't keep paying for lackluster service.

Much appreciated, TeresaL0509. The insight does help to know. Granted the issue is happening intermittently we can mark these calls in order for our network engineers to further review. If you happen to notice an issue with the call reception, please place a call immediately to #832 once the call has disconnected. By doing this it will mark the previous call for further review. Once we have about five of these, we can then have a ticket submitted for further review. Although your location such as in a car or building can interfere with the wireless signal, I do not believe this is the case, concerning this issue.
