Why is it that KC isn't on the list of cities to get 4G any time soon?? Not sure if it is because Sprints headquarter in here and we are covered in WiMAX or what the reasoning is but we are suffering... Why is it that Verizion is lighting up much smaller markets when large metropolitan area's such as KC aren't covered yet?? Anythoughts??

That is a really good question, it seems like 4g released in every major city that had an nfl team and now is slowly expanding out..
could have to do with vzw's infulence in the area..doubt you can ever get a true answer to that question though

I like how the VZW guy didn't even seem to read the question. I mean if he wanted to get that info I am pretty sure one google would have gotten it for him. What he was wondering about was why KC isnt getting 4G.
If I had to guess its cause of sprint and that they are headquartered there, would be wasted resources probably in their mind when rolling out the new LTE.

The "waste of resources" thing wouldn't make any sense because why would they build towers in Wichita? Wichita surely doesn't have more VZW density than Kansas City does, right? I heard that there was some sort of issue with the towers here in KC. Does VZW share towers with Sprint?
