New phone but no service.

Received my Samsung Charge yesterday at noon and now almost 24 hours later still no service. I live in a 4g area, have been on the phone with Verizon for hours yesterday and now am told I have to wait up to 72 hours for network support. Anyone else have this issue? This is just so not right. I spent 300 bucks for a new phone and my old free phone at least worked.

Finally gave up with phone support and returned the phone. Store tried for over an hour to try to get it to work before giving me replacement..
