Vz is the only one who knows what kind of phone it was and that it was suspended because it was stolen. They are the only ones that have that documentation but refuse to email or send me a statement to that effect.
Online receipt? You could log into your account and print the page showing the number and phone you have. VZW will not provide it and say it was stolen because they do not know if it was or a scam being perpetrated by you.
All insurance wants is a police report.
Did you buy the phone using that credit card, police report.
You need only give a copy of a valid POLICE REPORT to get the insurance. If you paid for your phone with the credit card that is giving coverage you need a copy of your statement showing the purchase.
VZW wont give you a statement that they "turned off a phone you reported stolen". You have to get a police report and mail that to them. Its considered a SWORN STATEMENT before a law enforcement official, which is binding in a court of law.
