Why did you resign up with Verizon if after only 1 year of service you noticed a lack of it? If you're only experiencing trouble at home you should ask them to give you a discount off the network extender; you have to have a good internet connection though for it to work.

If you want comparable service I'd look at at&t, T-mobile when I had it for a short time had A LOT of trouble getting service indoors; I use to stand in a corner to make phone calls and had to leave my phone in a window sill to get service.

There are many remedies to try for the situation, you've just got to be willing to adapt to the change. Verizon can't control what could have been built near the tower that might now be affecting your service etc.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I renewed my contract because I believed it would get better as now I know they just lied to me to keep me with them.

If you spent 12 months complaining to them, I'm not sure why you'd believe them even if they did say "service will get better."

If you made them aware of your lack of coverage during the last year of the first contract they would have already offered you a discounted extender, I'm not sure you'll get any further with them now on this issue than you have over the last 2 years.

I'm guessing if you've talked to tech they have had you troubleshoot your devices? If not, what devices are having trouble getting service?

Just to verify while at home you don't receive any text or phone calls and are unable to send any text or make phone calls? Once you leave home, how far do you have to go to be able to your phone?

Do you turn on Wi-Fi while at home?

When I renewed my contract got the new iPhone 6 so when they came out. I do have my WIFI on and I have even turned it off but still same thing and not only at home it happens in other areas.

And when did you renew? You may need a new SIM card.

How long are texts taking while you're connected to Wi-Fi?

last October, and got a new Sim card with the phones

with wifi fairly quick without it it varies.

The SIM card is how you connect to the network, if it's faulty it could be the cause, however because this has been going on 2 years I don't think that's it, though I wouldn't rule it out.

WiFi should not affect text delivery times. Texts are delivered on the same network voice service works on. iMessage however, can work on WiFi. Have you tried different phones ? The iPhone 6 isn't known for it's strong signal. We have two on my account and while they're fine in good signal areas, in low signal sometimes it's hit or miss with phone calls and picture messages. This is why I just purchased a Network Extender, however the Verizon provided one lacks LTE.

I agree though, if your first year of service wasn't acceptable renewing wasn't a very smart thing to do.

Perhaps..but on both phones? and we get a lot of dropped calls. I think the best thing to do is to just cancel my contract and see how it goes with AT&T

Yes, both phones will have the issue because the phone itself doesn't hold signal well in low signal areas. If that's what you feel then go for it and pay the ETFs.

You got new phones and you have service issues. Why pay for something you can't use? Just leave to another carrier, pay your last bill in full and sell the phones to recoup losses. No reason to be a slave. I have verizon and another carrier and have noticed strong coverage and alternating coverage. Do what's best for you.

We want to ensure you are getting service on your phone pherson. I noticed you mentioned you have another service provider besides us. What exactly is going on with service on our device? Are issues with voice or data? Please share details.

It's important to us that your phone is working at its best so you can enjoy our network, mozzy. We don't want to see you go elsewhere. You mentioned the difficulties you're having are not only at home but other areas as well. That may be an indication of something happening with the device itself but how far from home do you need to get in order for your calls and messages to go through reliably? Is the issue all over town or in other cities as well? Do you have a protective case on your iPhone?

Good morning, I do have a protective case(who doesn't with the mobile prices) but Ive taken it out of it and its the same...Just last night my fiancee called me 4 times and not a ring I knew she did because she left a voice-mail. I honestly think is just here because I travel quite often to other states and I have not had a problem there other than not getting LTE just 3g. but as I've mentioned not only the service but customer service. tired of being lied to with promises of call back and for the so called "my supervisor" pretends he/she is looking into it and will get back to have an answer to the previous person that lied to me. not only once but it has happened more than 3 times. no doubt when I first joined in quality was superb and customer service was great but how about now? did everyone just stopped giving a damn and pretty much just go to make their 8 hours? I understand that we are humans and we have our days and we just want to slap or strangle someone that will give us an excuse, believe me I deal wit customers as well..but I leave my problems at home and do the best i can in my power to help them and I have why can't you?

I see, so basically I have to buy another device to make my existing work...very nice...There is a cell tower no more than a mile away from home as for buildings and such just houses and how will that work when I am on the streets? your coverage really needs improvement and same goes with your customer service, clearly you know that you can probably improve quality but apparently not your service with customers reps as the way they lie and reel you in just to get two more years.. you guys really should start paying more attention.
