Restocking Fee

I am a HUGE blockhead and accidentally ordered the wrong iPhone!! ((I wanted the 8, not the 8+)) And was wondering if there was any way to avoid a restocking fee, because $50 dollars is is a crazy amount for a fairly broke twenty year old who just paid all her bills! 😭 I’m not even planning on opening the box for the phone, just a switcheroo. Anyone get lucky with a switch??

So I ordered phone online never been an iPhone user so didn't know the difference. After some research I found this phone was small so I knew not to open box if I wanted fee waived well I take to corporate store in Hanford ca an employee name Tiffany opens my box an begins to turn on I explained I was going to return an she laughs an said oh well we have to charge u the restocking fee I haven't even had service a month an they won't return for iPhone 7 Plus without charging restocking fees why should I pay when the employee at the store opened box if this is how your services are I will go back to att an Samsung phones cause I would have had this issues addressed already an I just want to go and do even swap out for iPhone 7 Plus I have the 7

Ok so today I went to return the phone m to get a new one the iPhone 11 well I had a 600 credit limit so I went with xr well the guy at some dang store told me I’d have to pay full price because my balance is zero I’ve never in my life had such a bd experience like this how is my balance zero when t first for iPhone11 I had to pay an extra 100$ to get it didn’t have that much so went with cheaper one the xr well ya then I call an I’m beyond mad I’ve spoke with so many reps who told me I’d have no issues returning it as it was bought in holiday sale I want this

Fixed I was gnna pay restocking fees an all but now I’m ready to go back to metro where thy help how am I stuck with a phone I dnt want or like an can’t even return it this is insane an bad customer service please fix issue or I have no choice but to go back to my old provider an void this contract

I purchased a Note 10, where I received it there were no security stickers on the box. But to be honest oh, it did not give me any concern, However after setting up the phone I realized that the battery was discharging at an alarming rate. I contacted Verizon, and they told me they would send me out a new phone. However they're also now telling me I need to pay for a restocking fee. This is crazy, this was a damaged phone and yet they want to restock it.

So in other words you cant waive fees if box is opened and device is examined. That's not fair, especially if you are ordering another phone from Verizon. Also,on top of that there is another $35 activation fee. I'm doing my shopping on Best buy from noe on
