Can anyone tell me what a 35 dollar re-stocking fee is for? i broke my phone but have insurance with assurion. I paid for the refurbished phone they sent me and that one did not work. So they sent me another. All of a sudden i get a re-stocking fee from verizon this month? That is absolutely bogus. If that is the case, verizon just lost a long time customer

Anytime a Phone is Returned to Stock as Verizon Claims they Charge a Restock Fee) Since the refurbished phone you got had issues and wouldn't work you might go by your Local Verizon Comm Store) Talk to the Manager and see if you can get the Restock fee Waived as a Courtesy from the issues you had with the phone.. b33

The only time a restocking fee should be charged is if you're returning a phone you purchased, not for a replacement. If Asurion is the one who replaced the defective phone they originally sent you, there should definitely not be a restocking fee and I suggest calling customer care at 800 922 0204 to get it removed.
