Samsung/IPhone household here, when can BOGO upgrades include multiple brands?

Hi,

The hubz and I have phones from different companies (iPhone and Samsung). We are both quite uninterested in switching brands and we don't want to trade in either. We have also been loyal Verizon customers for 20 plus years. Are there ever opportunities to upgrade or participate in Buy One Get One offers where the second phone can be from a different company?

Phoenyx, that is an excellent question. Verizon accepts phones as trade-ins from any carrier as long as it is in good condition, no physical or liquid damage and powers on/off. So, when you are ready to upgrade, you can take advantage of any offer for existing customers that require a trade-in and not have to trade in your current device with Verizon if you do not wish. - ErichC_VZW

BOGOs have always been the same brand and that trend isn't going away. While the idea would be cool, it would kinda buying buying a Whopper and wanting a Big Mac free.
