Sending SMS intermittent

I am using a Galaxy S5 on 4G LTE service. I have had issues texting for months now. It only happens when I'm at work. When I send a text message, it sometimes gets stuck and never sends. It doesn't matter what phone or service the receiver has. And I can restart my phone and it doesn't send. I usually just wait a few minutes and send a new message and it will go through, but the original message will sit there in queue unless I delete them. Then when I drive away from this city on my way home, the messages will all send at once.

I have no issues receiving messages at all, just sending SMS. I believe it is a problem with the cell tower, since I only run into this problem when I'm in this location. But I really have no idea what's causing it. It has been going on for well over a month now. Any suggestions are welcome!

Text messages is one of my favorite features, so I completely understand the need of it working. Does it work right outside of your office? It sounds like something is blocking coverage. What is the zip code? Has it ever worked at your office? Also do other functions work such as calls and data? Share details please.

Have you taken the recent OTA update to 5.0 since yesterday? That might correct your issue.

It does not work outside the building. I actually have trouble anytime I'm

in this area, even driving through on the highway. My calls and data seem

to work flawlessly. And the problems with the text messages just started

out of nowhere a couple months ago. I've worked here for a couple years.

The zip code is 43055.

Thanks for the additional info, Andrew0855! I can see that Snn5 has asked about the software version on your device. I agree that we should be looking at that as our next possible contributor to the messaging issue you're having. Please go to Settings> Sytem updates> Check for new software update. If you're not running the latest version, please install it and retest. Let us know how that goes!
