Verizon blacklisted my phone

I am not from the us .Have never set a foot there but my Iphone was gifted to me brand new and bought from an official reseller in Ghana .

I have been using my phone since 2022 no issue no blacklisting till my phone started rejecting my sim for my operator to tell me that Verizon blacklisted my phone after it was reported stolen which is not the case. Can anything be done I’ve tried reaching out in many ways and I am desperate .I just moved into a new country and can’t use my phone because of a network I have never used and didn’t know of till this morning.I am the only owner this phone ever had.

Are you sure it was originally stolen?

It was never stolen and I talked to 2 of their employees and they told me 2 different stories one telling me the phone was declared stolen and the second that the phone was purchased from them and the bill not paid .

In the end both just told me to get a new phone as this one will soon stop working
